My name, Belial, is used in various translations of the bible as a synonym for Satan or his followers. In Miltons "Paradise Lost", Belial is described as the demon of impurity. One of the fallen angels.

Well it is the name of the second album by of course Opeth. Sure it isn't original AT ALL, but I really love the atmosphere and feeling that comes fromt his word.

Firstly, I am not obsessed with homeworld.

I don't even play it.

Kushan first appeared when I had to think of a serious name for a Text Based MUD roleplaying game. (Don't ask)

And that woird came to my mind.

Later, I found it was a race from the gamer homeworld.

And when I registered here, Kushan on it's own wasn't excepted.

so I whacked Taiidan on the end.

My character in Everquest is called Taiidan.

So to internet aliases combined.

Hoser: expression used by the Characters Bob & Doug McKenzie from the early 80's Canadian sketch comedy show SCTV. Has passed into popular culture as slang simply for "Canadian", perhaps more specifically "Stereotypical Canadian".

Hellspawn: Self-explanitory

When I was in a graphics class, I had to make a logo for a graphics company (to represent my work) which I called Hoser Graphics, as the "name" Hoser I had already strongly identified myself with. Then, for one project, I drew a car, which I decided would be named The Hellspawn, as designed by "Hoser Motors" (I liked the alliteration). Thus, I had the "Hoser Hellspawn".

A picture of the Hoser Hellspawn can be found in the pictures thread.

Urizen is a name that William Blake used often in his works. First mentioned in Plate 5 from in The Marriage of Heaven and Hell. Urizen is supposedly the personification of --the power of the fallen psyche that marks bondaries, defines the horizon, seperates and divides, and in general limits and reduces. He also represented the entire intellect of mankind. Urizen was the god of the new world in Blakes vision and is refered to as the prince of light which is an allusion to Urizen's new role as the satan of orthodox tradition.
