Yeah its pretty obvious, from the 2289, the number is quite selective.

Yeah... you're also the only user who has ever used the name Accolade*number*. :p

I also had a conspiracy theory about V... the whole Michael vs. Tom thing... note the "Death of Balance" in the name ratio after Twilight in Olympus. :goggly:

Welcome back porkmetalpilgrim. :D
Apologies for my part in getting your thread locked. :p

Yes, you call me out, and I drag you back here kicking & screaming...

Civility started to become a lost art form there, unfortunately!

Good luck with the permit, I'll notify the authorities that you'll be out & about on the roadways...:heh:

 I'm sure they'll appreciate it...

Shame about the DT thread... :erk:

Going to get my learners driving licence tomorrow morning...

I thought you were of university age? Or are driving ages different in Aussie? Or are you just getting yours late?

All this and more, when progmetalpilgrim returns.....

Good look thought dude, I remember being nervous as shit back when I had my driving test. My teacher only had two modes: stone cold silence and yelling at you loud enough to wake your ancestors.

I've got mine, but it'll be at least another ear or two before I have my own car again so it's not good for anything. I pwnzrd my last car by throwing it into park at 50 mph. I had 4 options you see:

a) slam into the back of a mercedes at 50mph

b)veer off to the right at 50 mph, have a nice ride about 20 yards down a hill, then swim my way out of the Missouri river

c)veer off to the left into oncoming traffic at 50 mph

d) throw it into park.......(at 50 mph)

Anyway, back off-topic. I just came back from seeing Def Leppard live. Laugh as you will, but they actually put on a pretty decent show.

Did you catch the drummer's arm at the end of the show?

You mean they're both detatcheable:OMG:

Ken- My engine died as I was coming down a hill with an intersection at the bottom. I didn't even notice until I went to start easing on the brake. My music was loud enough that I didn't hear the engine die and there wasn't any loss in momentum as I was going down hill. The brakes locked up, which is how I found out that the car had died. I kept trying the brakes but the pedal snapped off (I was freaking out at that point and stomped the shit out of it I'm guessing). My E-brake had always been broken so park was the only option. I figured a little bit of whiplash and busting the transmission on a car I paid 300 bucks for was better than footing the bill for some dudes mercedes:p

Minimum age to get a learners permit here in South Australia is 16, and the minimum age to sit the driving test is 16 1/2. The other states are different.

Lucky for me then that I'm not in Adelaide for the next couple of weeks then... good luck!!!

 Thanks...

I am university age, but I'm pretty young at uni, cos I was 17 when i finished school, and went straight into uni...

^ He is only 17 or 19 or something, I'm 27 and still dont have my license  (I had it overseas but since being back in Aus I've never gotten a car so never got it here)

18...

So anyway, yeah I'm a little late, I could've got it 2 years ago, but was too busy...

I went this morning... Actually, i can't be bothered rewriting this story, so i shall just copy it from the bmusic forum...

rant/

back on topic, I went this morning, in the pouring rain, with all my ID, birth certificate etc. but of course they weren't happy were they, so back home I walked, in the pouring rain to get my passport, back to the transport office, finally finished filling out the form, sat down and did the test. Passed first time, I was cheering, finally got my licence... But no, first I have to go and get an eye test done and get the optometrist guy to sign a certificate thingo... That's okay, there's one right around the corner from the transport place! But no, I have to make an appointment, so now I'll have to wait til NEXT FRIDAY to actually get my licence, and I ended up missing a uni lecture because of all the stuffing around... I really hope there's no more surprises...

/end rant

But at least I passed first shot, I think I got 37/42 so I'm happy with that... just gotta wait now...

So yeah, that sucks a bit... :heh:
