When I think of the 90s I tend to forget about the boybands and I prefer to remember The Prodigy.

I actually don't remember much of the 90s except for this one time in kindergarten when a girl came over to my house and we slept in the same bed. Good times.. I haven't seen much action since..

I don't remember much of middle school or high school either (As recent as 2006). Is it possible that some things disturb you so much you try to subconsciously get rid of them? I think I did that somehow.

Anyway, I just took this genius test and figured out I'm a genius - 2. I am only up to 17. I didn't cheat either. 19 means your a genius. Edit: I'm a genius now!

Yeah it's called repression, usually events have to be quite severly traumatizing for the brain to actually repress them though. Repression can often lead to Schizophrenia, it's not a good thing

Nahh, I don't think so. I just talk to myself about how I'm going to rationalize the situation.

Haha. My car's out of commission at the moment, and my dad was kind enough to drive me to my appointment yesterday. I actually had to ask him to read the items on the bill to me since I couldn't see a damn thing. Truly, pointless.

Wanna know what's more pointless? I flew to Phoenix this morning for management training. Tonight, I will fly from Phoenix to Dallas to drive up to Frisco, TX. I think I'll make it to the hotel around 12:30. Then I train a bunch of guys in a statistics tool they've probably already used for years. Then I drive back to Dallas, fly to Oakland, and drive to Concord. I should make it to the hotel by 2:00 am. Thursday I train another bunch of guys in the same tool. I get to stay overnight again (I should reserve my table at EJ Phair now!) before driving back to Oakland and flying home Friday.

That is pointless!

agreed. I only remember the American hits. "Firestarter", "Smack My Bitch Up" and... probably one other. Vicky also showed me a few others when we talked, but i can't remember. They were good though... I actually have to say The Prodigy were great for techno stuff... way better than boybands.

There was a lot of great metal in the 90's...everyone choses to remember grunge and rap-metal crap.

Rust in Peace, Painkiller, Divine Wings of Tragedy, Twilight in Olympus, Nightfall in Middle-Earth, Night of the Stormrider...all classics...the list goes on and on.

I thought Pearl Jam went downhill after Ten. As far as grunge went, I was always more of an Alice In Chains guy myself.. and Soundgarden too...

Good call on AIC. Funny thing is that a lot of those guys were so influenced by the metal scene early on... you can tell by the first few records of all those bands. maybe the attitude changed and the song content changed, but much of the musicianship and actual songs are very much metal. I think it's funny that it got tagged "grunge" when it was just a bunch of anti-scene people who just wanted to rock while not wanting to be rockstars.

Pearl Jam, AIC, Soundgarden... all had solid first album (or first few... or in the case of AIC, all their stuff). Grunge is a bullshit term.

and fuck nirvana
