Everybody says agnostic weirdly... on every chatroom, forum...etc... "I am agnostic" "this is agnostic" "the agnostic thing..." "you're so agnostic" ....I don't even know what it means, but I don't feel the need of that word,i'm going to dictionary.com and see if I start using that word too!

Everybody says agnostic weirdly... on every chatroom, forum...etc... "I am agnostic" "this is agnostic" "the agnostic thing..." "you're so agnostic" ....I don't even know what it means, but I don't feel the need of that word,i'm going to dictionary.com and see if I start using that word too!

i didn't know the word was so popular, and i'm an agnostic since before i had entered a chatroom, something i try not to do anyway.
technically - and therefore with no reference to whatever the "cool" meaning might be - an agnostic is someone whose judgement over the existence of supernatural beings is suspended: logic does not efficiently prove or disprove the existence of god and agnostics, lacking the faith, do not feel like they have any means to possess definite knowledge on the subject.
to extend the category, i'd say that i am a probablist, in that i find the existence of god likely. this, quite obviously, does not mean i do believe.
