Beelzebub (lord of the flies)
I've read somewhere that Bhaal-Zebub ('lord of the flies') is an old Christian misspelling (made fully intentional) of the Babylonian name for the 'lord of horses' (or 'lord of princes', according to another source ) to mock the Babylonian faith.

Q: Which culture do you find most interesting, Egypt or Babylon?

A: Ancient Egypt, assuming that's what you meant.

Q: Do you currently own pet(s)?

A: No :/ Our pet dog was put down earlier this year. Though my mum's grandparents moved in downstairs and at times they feel rather like pets to take care of :p

Q: You?

A: Normally my job isn't too stressful, but a fair part of the company's success hinges on how the next few weeks turn out. And i'm one of two people working on this completely undocumented system with 5 years history.. and i've only been there 5 months or so. And i browse UM and chat all day.. but let's not mention that ;)

Q: What artistic thingys do you do? music? drawing? writing? poetry? theatre? etc...

(weird.. i was just surprised by my own avatar... forgot it cried!)

anybody can write lyrics. The question is what others will think of them.

do you think there is anything like 'poets who don't write poetry' thing?

A: no. but there's some i did write buried in the old creativity thread on this board.
A2: if you mean literature with exceptional rhythm/aesthetic qualities although it's in prose, yes, i think there is.

Q: can you write lyrics?

A: That's a good idea.

Q: Do you like the music of Opeth?
