A: No and make me. :D

Q: Do you ever get dreams about floating in the air?

A: No.

Q: Would you rather spend your whole life in civilization (in the city) and around people you don't really care about... or spend the rest of your life on a wild stranded island with the one person for you?

A: Oooh. Good question. I pick: spend the rest of your life on a wild stranded island with Mousewings. Tee hee ^_^

Q: The Beatles or Elvis Presley?

a: don't make me choose  michael jackson had some good tunes, but he's so strange now. tom jones... well, tom is just groovy. in keeping with the spirit of my avvy and user title, i'll go with mr. jones.

q: what was your parents' method of discipline?

You know.. I actually have a very early, specific, memory of my dad kicking my ass (literally) when I was a young boy.
I had disobeyed.. I got on a swing made with a rope and a car tire (you sit inside the car tire) after my dad told me not to get on that dangerous thing. So I did, and surely and quickly enough, I fell on my ass and started crying.. He came by yelling at me, very pissed, and instead of seeing if I was hurt or helping me out, gave me a kick in the ass to top it off so that 'I would learn'.
:/

Q: What do you think of my dad?

A: Tough love. Hard to say what he's really like as that's only one story. But he sounds a lot like my dad. The only reason he hasn't kicked my ass is because I'm a girl. Your story reminds me of someone who climbed on top of a wall, and his dad asked him to jump and he would catch him. So the boy did. Unfortunately, his dad stepped aside and the kid ended up breaking his arm. All his dad had to say was, 'You should never trust anyone.' I think that's too much, a parent asking his kid not to trust him? Way to go.

Q: Most horrible thing your parents have done to you?

A: Lots. They withheld the fact that they knew I had a medical problem and never told me about until recently. When the medical test results came back, they squarely blamed me for my bad health. The fact of the matter is, if they had told me I have this condition, I would have helped myself from deteriorating my health. There is NO reason they should withheld any information regarding myself from me.

Q: Same question.

A: Quite a few things. The basics are:
My father once told me he was "deeply disappointed" in me after a few of my marks dropped. Later, he told me he thought I was wasting my life with my career goals. He also once said my depression was my own fault and made me feel guilty about taking my medication (which I needed and still need).
Although, he said these things out of anger and he's never bought them up again (at least in my presense), so that's his way of apologising and saying he didn't mean it. My own mother also apologised to me for a few of his comments, calling them out of line and telling me he didn't truly mean them.
I do forgive him, but I'm not going to forget it though.

A: Doesn't this all sound like a Bollywood movie?

A: No. I learned my cousin... has some problems though (worse than mine). That adds to the movie scenario.

Q: Do you have any odd family members?

A: Nope, perfectly dysfunctional nuclear family. :) However, 2 cousins lived with us at one time.

Q: Are you hooked on caffeine?

A: Depends. But humans lack vegetable nutrients.

Q: Do you like sofas from IKEA?

i have one, and it broke partially while assembling it... but well, apart from that, they have quite a few nice ones.

q: are leather seats in a car nice or gay?

A: I don't like leather seats in cars, but I wouldn't consider that "gay".

Q: Do you like cleaning?
