I've listened to both albums. I believe there are only 2 ??? Didn't care for the 2nd album.

Glow of the Setting Sun is my fav of theirs. The guitar work is sweet ! Once in a while I'll listen to all of Sweet Vengeance

I agree about the guitar work, and also Thomas Lindberg does some awesome vocals, imo somewhat more brutal than his vocals on At The Gates. There solos kick ass too

Myself and a friend have a running joke about it and sometimes when we've had a few beverages together, he'll put on empire just so we can roll about on the floor laughing our asses off at its sheer ridiculousness.

try "life will go on," "blue hotel" and "spanish blue sky" by chris isaak, too.

yeah, blue hotel is ok....but i just end up listening to wicked game instead. I wasn't suggesting that any of his other stuff was dreadful or anything....

But plenty of his stuff kicks ass tbff, his 1st album(self-titled) and forever blue are fucking pwnful, cheesy and super romantic it is true, but he wrote some great, beatiful songs, ''Lie to me'' and ''Shadows in Mirror'' being some of his best tracks ever.
