I think the only way to compare who is considered better would be to now do this poll in the Enslaved forum, and then see who wins by the biggest ratio. Doing it on the Opeth forum will obviously get most people voting Opeth, as plenty of people here consider Opeth their favourite band.
Both superb bands, but I voted for Opeth, simply because I'm always in the mood to listen to them, whereas Enslaved is more of a refined taste.

I love Steve Jablonsky's "The Island" ...but I like Industrial type stuff that gives my $800 sub woofer a workout with being rappy...even though there is a pretty good rap tune on there as well!!!! Listen to "you have a special purpose in life" off the score...it's quite awesome imo!!!
