I think Ghost Reveries was a clear progression from Deliverance. In all honesty, I'm at a stage where I would totally understand if the band were to break up. They have done quite a lot musically over the last decade and a half, and it would be fair for them to go their seperate ways.

I think as long as Mike is writing music, the essence of the band 'Opeth' will still be alive and well.

Indeed. I'm not going to read all the posts here but you can divide them into two basic categories - 1. uncritical asslicking and 2. unashamed troll. Very few people here know how to be critical without either blasting the band (death_to_false_metal) or licking the soles of their shoes (metalmanCPA). Anyone who posts here claiming not to like something about Ghost Reveries is a hypocrite (and an idiot, quite simply), but at the same time people who worship every second of every song they do are simply not music fans. I think even Mike would agree with that
