All in all, it was a terrific show. Beyond The Embrace completely ripped the stage up...one word. HEAVY!!! I even liked the 3 guitar set-up. While 2 of the guitarists were soloing in harmony the 3rd still kept the groove going. It gave the music a deeper feel. I wish their set lasted a little longer than it did.
The only downside I had for the night was Lacuna Coil...I know I'm going to get some crap for this. I tried to like them, I really did. But if you played me their CD and told me it was Evenecense I would believe you. The Girl singer was incredible and the range she has is great. I just don't think it mixed very well with the guy screaming over top of her. My advice is ditch the dude singer and heavy it up a little more and you have a great band.
Opeth....what can I say. That was one of the best shows I have ever seen. Those guys were so tight, they never missed a note! When they encored with "Deamon of the Fall"....the place erupted.
Like I said it was a great show...well worth the money.
