Not 100% keen on his screams though.. Sound a little weird and a little less throaty than his normal style.

I love Opeth... but hate rhythmic clapping. Or semi-rhythmic clapping as heard in that youtube vid! Seems every live Opeth release has the fans just clapping away! All bitching aside I'm really looking forward to this DVD!

My music teacher once told me that the reason all the claps sound out of time when they're played back is simply because of the distance from the stage, sound travels slower than you think. Then when you add up the people from the very front, the middle and the very back you get a bunch of retards clapping.

Uhm yes sounds travels so there's delay on the last rows, but most of the time people can't clap in time..... I'm no joking, it happens quite a lot

If I ever get to mix a live recording crowd mics are going right down if I can detect a single mistimed crowd clap! My claps will be hard time aligned to the grid.
I can see myself slip editing crowd mics. I'm a nerd.
