i tend to listen to "morning view" more than that one. a crow left out of murder was good, too, but like you said...not much of a big deal.

Most of the bands suck anyway. Deftones, Incubus, BLS, etc. (at least those were the bands at the last show I went to, I haven't been impressed with the line ups since then) they all put me to sleep, I'm not gonna waste my hard-earned money on swill like that.

Sure there are some kick ass bands that have been featured at ozzfest lately (slayer, iron maiden, judas priest, arch enemy, soilwork, etc.) but I would rather spend my money on a headlining show by any one of these bands. In fact, I have, and it was worth it.

I don't see how any discerning metalhead could deny that the last 2 Ozzfests were head and shoulders above the rest. Very little crappy nu-metal as such at the last two. And is there anything better at the end of the day than Slayer, Priest, and Sabbath?? That right there is one of the best bills ever!

But I would still rather pay good money to see those bands do their own headlining tours. I have and it was well worth it. I mean, I've already seen Black Sabbath live once, Slayer 4 times, Iron Maiden, ect so it's not like I think that I'm missing out on anything...

I guess based on past experience, I didn't really enjoy Ozzfest as much as I felt I should with the money I paid (orchestra seats). So why bother again? Know what I mean jelly bean?

They got asked to play on 2005's line up but declined, at least I'm prettys ure. I'd MUCH rather see them headline then have to wait for all the crap bands to play. I mean last two years were great; Priest, Sabbath, Maiden, In Flames, Slayer, and some other good ones, but it was painful to watch some of the bands.
