Opeth the best ever!

opeth are my favorite band of all time and think that they are one of the best bands in the history of mankind...but are they the best?..i guess this is not an easy topic to answer right away but they are definitely in the list. i mean, look at it, there is no single opeth song that disappoints me, while there are many disappointments in all the great bands around. opeth are very likely to be the BEST but i cant speak for sure...

Dammit, it seems people are ashamed to admit they are crazy about Opeth these days. Maybe people have praised them too much on these boards? It shouldn't affect your personal feelings about them anyway.

Yes they are, but Rush is just as fine in a different way as you might have noticed from my avatar. After all, without Rush I wouldn't be listening to Opeth.

I'm not ashamed to gush about Opeth.. I can admit that not everyone will find it to their liking, but for me, it's the perfect fusion of emotion, talent, raw energy, artistry and integrity.

I think many people here feel the same..
