Pretty much all the heavy riffs in Deliverance and Masters Apprentice.
The first heavy riffs in Leper Affinity.
But as mentioned above Opeth has 435834 amazing riffs.
Hmm so many amazing riffs, but I gotta say the one that struck me the most when I first heard it by it's awesomeness was the Face of Melinda riff...where it goes heavy..awesome
Greetings! Opeth has millions of great riffs, so I will mention the one I'm fascinated with now:
1. INCREDIBLE - "In the mist she was standing" - 8:35.... I cry when listen to it...
2. The Moor - 5:12 - woaaaaaaah!
3. Serenity Painted death - 2:46.... - I go crazy there!!!!
4. Dirge for November - about 4:28....... beautiful
and practically all from "Godhead's Lament", Deliverance and Drapery Falls...... and.... and.....
6:57 of Blackwater Park just fucking brutal!!
7:17 of Funeral Portrait
1:19 of The Drapery Falls
3:13 of Bleak
2:13 of Leper Affinity
6:13 of The Moor
1:43 of Godhead's
0:47 on Moonlapse!!
4:38 of Face of Melinda
1:31 of Serenity!!
3:42 of Cluster
Every riff on April Ethereal...and the closer is just killer...man I like so many and I just realized what the name of the thread was...Damn they fuckin rock!!
I'd have to say the ending or April Ethereal as their best #$^@%&#$WTF am I thinking?? 5:05 of When, no doubt. Or the last 3 of To Bid You Farewell. I wish I could think straight when it comes to this sorta thing.
The ending in Deliverance and the ending in A Fair Judgement give me thrills everytime i hear them, and the opening of Blackwater Park is awesome!
There's also others but these i like the most..
