Ive been through the reasons why I love Damnation so much, and if anyone read or cared I won't need to go through them again.

Damnation and Still Life are my fav's.

I agree with 'the dude'.

Whenever i think of Damnation I think of 45 minutes of generic Opeth stuff. Then I listen to it and am blown away at times. Still their weakest effort in my opinion.

I really like the album but I must say I find it slightly boring at times. I like Opeths music cuz of the great emotional range it has but this album doesn't have it primarily cuz its not their usual style

well i think i originally saw it confirmed by Dave himself, on some news post on blabbermouth's site or smth..but i just googled "foo fighters double album" and found some good stuff.

It's a good record but I think that they don't function live as well as on the studio record. Cause on the Lamentations DVD Hope Leaves for example is played even slower which makes it downright boring.

Grohl is a better drummer than song writer imo. Im also looking forward to the new nIn album.
