So, can anyone here design a system in FF7 where you can enter a battle with Emerald Weapon, put the controller down, without hitting a single button, WALK OUT OF THE ROOM... AND STILL WIN THE BATTLE EVERYTIME?!

since it's turn based, that would require Emerald gets the first turn and that your strategy is based solely on effects of armor/gear/etc and that Emerald's 1st turn actions result in enough damage to kill it, because the timer otherwise will bust you while the game waits for your 1st turn.

MrFast...You know a good site for Roms/Emuls? I'm interested in EVO now lol.

And yeh 'Terror Train' Pwnzors!

I'm in the 3rd Cd of Final Fantasy IX now...I'm at the part where Kuja sends you on a misson to the lost continent! (Forgotten Capital anyone? FFVII) What a jerk ass, anyone notice how the Hista Gard 1 resembles a giant flying fish lol?

I can and have done it. And Emerald Weapon goes whenever he likes. I still win regardless and it is not with a gameshark/hack or anything else. Legit.

I think I know what it is.... Is it the same trick to beat Ruby?

Aka:

"Required:
- MASTERED Command Counter Materia paired with Mime
(NOT, I REPEAT, NOT THE COUNTERATTACK MATERIA. THE COMMAND COUNTER IS A
BLUE MATERIA)
- Knights of the Round paired with HP Absorb
- Enough HP and defense so you don't die in one hit.
- High magic rating (200+)
- Ribbon <-- very important

Optional (but recommended so it doesn't take hours)
- 2 Knights of the Round Charges
- W-Summon
- Master Summon paired with MP Turbo (on different slots than the regular
KOTR one)

Before you start the fight, kill off your other two party members. When
you start the fight, simply cast Knights of the Round (W-summon or
without) on Ruby or the tentacles (doesn't matter). Now go get a cup of
coffee, come back in 10-20 minutes, and Ruby will be dead ^_^"

Using Gameshark doesn't count lol! It is physically impossible to do it with out touching any buttons! You can do it with touching a series of buttons than leave it... However, Why would you wan't to defeat weapon while gone...You miss like a whole huge fight scene of the game which is quite rewarding to beat... Id rather get the cofee after I beat him not durring lol!

Haha no... No button will ever be pressed after you run into the EW (to start the battle). Not by me, not by someone else, not by an inanimate object and not by a turbo controller.

The Drinking Bird solves all problems.

How will a turbo controller physically get up and touch your controller?
