OT: What the hell ?

I heard this band "mudvayne" I know this is NU-METAL but... it has some prog or I'm just going crazy ?? I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on this and what do you think... I don't know I hear some Prog riffs in some songs.. Kill me if you want LOL

Out of the nu metal bands, they are probably the most talented (that isn't saying much). The bassist is good, but the vocalist is absolutely horrible.

2 syllables BO - RING lol. I downloaded some of the new songs, thought they were pretty cool at the start, but they quickly got very repetative and lost my interest.

Still my favorite "nu-metal" is Sevendust (but their first album was metal). The S/T was my favorite, then Home, then Animosity.

wait? how did i start talking about that? hmm the things that pop into my mind and take me off track.
