OT: Who gets the last word?

I watched about 90 minutes of Kate & Leopold last night. That's 90 minutes of my life that I can't get back. At least I was playing with my kids and read a few chapters, otherwise it would have been a total waste. I've never seen a "romantic comedy" that was so damn boring. And Hugh Jackman looks better hairy!

I got to see American Wedding Saturday night. It was funny. Not quite as good as first one, but close to second one. Good way to finish the series. Some very funny moments. Our first movie in 2 months I think. We used to be such movie fanatics prior to the little monkey boy running around the house.

I got to see American Wedding Saturday night. It was funny. Not quite as good as first one, but close to second one. Good way to finish the series. Some very funny moments. We used to go so much that there was nothing left to rent. We actually had to take a couple months off just to let Hollywood Video make a little cash off us.

Since the boy was born, we've seen one movie (Triple X) and we only did that to get him used to staying with Grandma. I was a nervous wreck the whole time (pregnant, too) and wanted to call and check on him 100 times, and then we got home and he was already bathed, in his pajamas, and chillin' on the couch, watching the news (don't ask, lol). We keep threatening to go again, but we never manage. But since my husband loves both American Pies, I think maybe next weekend or the next weekend after, we'll catch a matinee (earlier in the day, bedtime is a pain in the ass around here).

You sound like us. We used to be the people everyone would ask for movie opinions. We wanted to get on TV and do a movie review show, but better than Siskel and Ebert. Not every movie has to be an oscar winner for us.

i remember the first time we left Ryan just for a few hours to catch a flick, my wife was a wreck. THen, we wend up seeing some crappy Drew Barrymore movie(I can't remember the name) where she treats her son kind of shitty the whole time. It was a bad choice cause it made things worse for her. Oh well.

We might be able to catch one more flick next weekend before baby girl joins us. We're between Seabiscuit, Pirates, Bad Boys 2, and Terminator 3.

I'd also like to see Pirates and Bad Boys 2, but being realistic, I think it will only be American Wedding. We hit Hollywood Video once or twice a month to catch up with everyone else, but we're still behind. Shit, we didn't see Gangs of New York til like two weeks ago. Now that Tonya will finally eat solid food, I can actually think about leaving the kids at home more often. Now to find a day when he's not working is another situation all together.

Things are never easy are they. I think we'll pass on Terminator 3. It's probably a month from video now! I have heard great things about the Pirates.
