I'm waiting for Blockbuster to get Season 5 of the Sopranos, as my sister-in-law turned into a lying whore and stopped letting me borrow hers.

And I will be gone for a few days, as my computer is completely infested with spyware and a trojan horse, and my brother-in-law (soon to be ex-brother-in-law, I should say) swears he can fix everything in a couple days, a week, max. We'll see.
Maybe I can help. Try using a different browser. Here's a free one:

http://www.mozilla.org/

and for stopping those spywares, adwares U can use this program:

http://www.adwaresafe.com/

Hope this helps you!

I second adaware! If you want even more spyware protection, use it in conjunction with SpyBot (http://www.spybot.info/en/home/index.html). And make sure you have a good anti-virus program. It's worth spending the money on one if you don't have access to a free version (my work lets us download Norton's for free).

I haven't personally tried Firefox from Mozilla, but am thinking of putting it on the computer in the lab. Others on my floor are using and have no complaints. (Although, for some sites, you have to use IE for them to work).

Good Luck, Brat!

I also suggest AdAware! It rules.

NFF- That test was beautiful. I did follow the ball once, then got too distracted.:D

Not that I would start any rumors, Lord only knows I would'nt want to be in the dawg house but Brat's not around "because of her PC" and we haven't heard from Rieth in awhile. Coincidence... I don't know :)

AdAware, Zone Alarm, Avast Antivirus, and Pop-Up Stopper...why pay for security programs when some very good programs that update frequently (without having to pay yearly for new updates) are free? I had Norton installed on my last computer, and it had so many processes running in the background that it stalled my computer to a crawl...I might as well have been infected by a virus because my computer was useless when it was "protected" by Norton.

i have a pretty good copy of Symantec on my machine and as for spyware i use spybot and find that it works pretty damm well i really didnt like Norton all that much

While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off
the floor and make clockwise circles. Now, while
doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your
right hand. Your foot will change direction and
there's nothing you can do about it. This WILL drive
you crazy
