No, not his best by a long shot. A decent read, but falls flat when compared to really good ones. Except you need it pretty bad for the DT series.

yes, it is needed for the dt series. it had its moments, but just wasn't anything particular that stood out.

I found it kind of slow, and the characters not very engaging IMO. I made it as far as the first chapter of book 4 before deciding it wasn't worth it to continue.

having a terrific start to the new year. chick been trying to hook up with is on the be friends thing, and hurt my right wrist somehow and it's now in a splint. good thing i'm left handed and can type mostly 1handed with an assist from the 2 fingers that can reach the keyboard still.

I have like a swearing switch. friend's parents own a daycare, when I'm there, no swearing. soon as the last kid leaves, a floodgate opens.

Of course I'm pretty cautious around Antonio and Amanda, these days they'll repeat anything. Antonio would just love to swear if he knew any, I'm sure. Right now, his biggest insult when he's mad at me is "You're a big stupid hot dog!"

Some friends of the family used to do that with their kid when he swore. Whenever they came over, the first thing the kid would do is hide all the soap.
