Here are a couple of pics from Ramfest I went to this weekend in Johannesburg. In Flames where the headlining act and they were fucking insane!

There was a huge ass thunderstorm the first evening, and there was lighting in the clouds for a second or 2 with very loud thunder almost immediately following. The entire campsite almost in one voice shouted - THOOOOOORRRRRRR!!! Was epic...

Good gig, got to hear stuff I had not heard live in a while (beheading of a king for example). Not so good- the beer choice at the venue.

I was not in the best of moods when I came out due to the pickpocketing incident in the morning, but if a live gig did not cheer me, probably nothing would have- And I did feel better after the gig.

yeah the venue in GBG had shit beers and I complained as I do and they told me to call ahead and tell them to get good shit next time, I'll try that, haha
