OwnHammer Impulses - Speaker Cabinets now available!

Hey Deadstar,

I edited some of my previous post to add and change a couple of things. If all else fails with troubleshooting this on your own, you may take this to Acustica's forum or preferably support department. In addition to working on this issue, they should be able to help you in logging into their new system and having all your previous purchases show up there.

Thx man for the help, I'll contact Nebula staff cuz nothing of this worked

holy fuck. love it can i demo some of these before i buy? esp the mesa

Currently no, ala Q/A #4 on the F.A.Q.:

http://www.ownhammer.com/support/speakercabinets/

I am considering it though, however with the following caveats:

- I have no time table on it.
- It's pretty near the bottom of my 'to-do' list right now as I have TONS on my plate at the moment.
- It will more than likely be just a single cab/speaker/mic position and include:
. - an SYX impulse
. - a WAV impulse
. - a NEB impulse for commercial Nebula
. - a NEB impulse for Nebula Free

Right now I'm leaning towards 412-GTR Mesa V30-1 SM57-4 as that's a pretty general purpose IR for a lot of different styles and applications, and it will serve the purpose of providing a reference point when comparing to the various audio demos on the site.

Again, not in any of my immediate plans, but it is something I'm looking to do sometime down the road. :)

Hello Everyone,

Now on ownhammer.com is the '412-GTR SLM V30-1' set of Speaker Cabinet libraries, which consists of the Celestion Vintage 30 #1 captured in an SLM Electronics BV412SVB 4x12 cabinet. This configuration was the original inspiration for the OwnHammer Speaker Cabinet Impulse Response Libraries, and we are very happy to finally make this available for everyone.

The direct link to sound demos for the new library is:

When compared to the 412-GTR Mesa V30-1 which contains the same speaker configuration, the 412-GTR SLM V30-1 has a slightly elevated high and low end and subdued midrange, with a softer sag in place of the spongy punch to a small extent; all of which becomes more evident in a full mix.

In addition to the product release, we have a few other announcements we would like to pass your way, but are a bit lengthy to post about here. To read them, check out the newest entry on the news page:

Enjoy!
