Well, I guess at least the most of you know Pantera. I was just wondering that how can someone associate their music with satan worshipping? I at least cannot make such connection and I think I can tell the difference between for example black metal and basic heavy metal..

I don't see a connection, though I've heard Phil Anselmo is into the "black arts". If he is, which I don't know for sure, I don't see it coming out in their music.
Haven't heard Viking Crown, Anselmo's own one-man black metal project? Pretty stupid at that, too.

Well - Pantera is hardly black, but I think Phil want's to be part of the black metal community because he looks up to it. For those of you who have seen Satyricon's Roadkill Extravaganza video you will find Phil licking Satyricon's asses thoroughly. He's hailing and hailing them on stage, and he makes it quite clear that he wants to be part of the BM stage... like when he hangs around the neck of Nocturno Culto from Darkthrone. Ok - why not. :Smokedev: And there are these projects that some of you mentioned. One of those is Eibon, where Phil co-operates with known black metal personalities like Satyr and Fenriz... Maybe some ignorant persons think this connection makes Pantera a black metal band? 
Yeah, but I kinda doubt that some little group from where-ever-hillbilly-place knows these kind of connections. 'Cause I mean, the only thing that made me wonder this was on the Pantera vid Vulgar video when they were in a hotel and a bunch of religious people came to their room and started flaming them. How close-minded....
