Actually, I rather enjoyed it. Cruelty was indeed better, but dusk was better than that, and Vempire better even than that too. The only CoF albums I've not enjoyed much have been Nymphetamine and Bitter Suites to Succubi.

I haven't heard Nymphetamine... or all of Midian or the live album.
I love the first 4 releases (Dusk and Cruelty especially), liked what I heard from Midian, like the title track to From the Cradle (but the rest was shit) but that's about it. Everything else has been meh.
