a long time ago, on a Mikael's interview i read something like this:

"journalist: are you guys involved at any project?

Mikael: i did bloodbath, the martins always have some proyect they are working on, and Peter is doing Maths on his ass the whole day"

that's my question... i want to know why he does that (does he study math for university?, to grow up as a human being?, because he's obsessed with it? why?)

i'm an engineering student, so i like maths, and i can "get" why Peter likes them too, but i need some accurate answer to this...

so, this question is done... anyone know why?

eh...if I was in a kickass metal band there's no way in hell I would be studying math, but who knows...

that's what everyone would do, but that's the point, why does he do it?, the first conclusion might be that he is not like everybody else... :worship:

He took a degree in Maths that he finished a few years back now. I guess it's a fairly old interview, unless he's taking the studies further.

i believe that the interview is dated around the Blackwater Park era...

he should be studying something more metal...viking history, for example...then again, i've always thought higher math was the work of the devil...

One question that probably nobody will answer: why do you all say "maths" with an "s"? Its math.. or am i missing something because ive been up for 30+ hours?

I heard it was a Physics Engineering Degree. Any truth to that?
Much respect if that is true. Hell, respect for being into math when you're already involved in a completely unrelated profession. You know how fucking hard is to get an engineering degree?

Nonsense. It's not hard. A few friends of mine study engineering, and i guess that i can say that applied computer science at least here is way harder.
