Phobias and Fears Thread

Does anyone have any weird fears or phobias?

I am phobic of cotton balls. The sound they make being torn or being moved, sickens me. The ripping, tearing sound of the little disgusting fibers... ::gets goosebumps:: Fact: I don't wear socks because the feeling is like... cotton balls when they squeak. It's really hard to explain.

Fish "actually anything that lives underwater except Seals and Sea Cows"
Bugs "all bugs, Spiders, Roaches, Beatles, anything"
Heights
Swimming in the ocean or deep water, especially since I'm not a good swimmer to begin with.

And umm...unless I've already been around her at least once or twice pretty women. >_>

Spiders. it turns to rage and I kill them.

Heights, with unsecured or poorly secured edges. Someone pushed me as a prank when younger, nearly fell over a ledge. No one is permitted near me when at a ledge, period, or I get pissed.

It isn't so much a fear, but I cannot stand and get goosebumps when someone scratches paper...And I can't sleep if the bed I'm in is in the middle of the room. Too many years of my bed being up against a wall combined with a little fear of the dark makes for a paranoid night.

Oh and heights.
And being submerged completely in water, which leads to pools, boats, etc.

Do towels bother you? They do the same kind of squeak thing at times.

I'm just phobic of frogs. EW.

OH YES. Towels are something I have a very hard time with. I actually have to spend quite a bit of time in the bath aisle at Target feeling each towel haha, and when I hit one that's too cottony I have a little spasm and people give me funny looks. ::shiver::

I'm not as bad as that, but I really prefer the thick non-squeaky towels. The thin cottony ones give me the shivers. I wonder why that is. :err:
