What do you guys think about metal picks? I've used them for a few months now and I really like them. They last a long time without wearing out, they become very slippery with sweat though, I know they sell them with plastic grips or something like that, but I haven't found those.

I have a few metal DR picks made from brass, bronze, copper, as well as a Dava Control Pick with a stainless steel tip which is probably the plastic grip thingy you were talking about. They're pretty much how you'd expect, very pingy on the plain strings and very scratchy on the wound strings. I never use them because I can't stand the ping and they destroy strings as mentioned earlier.

I bought one classic red Jazz III, it's fucking incredibly small, is it ok if my thumb holding the pick touches strings? I now forgot how it used to be because I take any old pick and same happens with it.

I always preferred the small, sharp, hard ones. Round, flexible and large ones are sloppy.

and you can't say he's sloppy. I used to have one of these, they're round flexible and large, albeit I agree with you.

It's probably some custom InTune picks. Their jazz picks are exactly like the Tortex Jazz.
