Please help ctrl+c and Ctrl+p suddenly not working in cubase 5

hey guys got bands coming in the next few days and all the sudden my copy and past key controls are not working.

All my other key commands work, i can even use ctrl D to duplicate but i cant copy and paste
I checked under my key commands and they are still set to Ctrl C and V
Also my virtual keyboard is not on.

Any help would be seriously appreciated...
