Failures for Gods Immolation's best? The others are good choices though (don't agree about Morbid Angel, but I can see why someone might pick Covenant as it's badass).

Yeah, I've always loved that album. Dawn of Possession is good but the tracks are all pretty similar. Here in After could have been up there, but the production is shit. I've never understood Close to a world below. Majesty and Decay is really solid, but not their best.

Close to a Word Below is where where Immolation became Immolation IMO. Dawn of Possession is criticized by the band themselves, so you may not be wrong there, but as an OSDM release it rates pretty highly in my books. Failures for the Gods hasn't clicked for me yet, but I live in hope.
