post the best release in a bands discography

Twisted into Form for me.
The sound is better than on their debut and it might be a bit more homogeneous as regards the quality of the songs, but "Forbidden Evil" and "Eyes of Glass" are my favourite Forbidden songs by far, also in the guitar solo department, and I'd also say I like "March into Fire" better than any song on "Twisted into Form". Luckily, "Forbidden Evil" and "Eyes of Glass" are both also included on the "Raw Evil - Live at the Dynamo"-EP whose raw live sound I like much better than the one on the studio versions (which isn't really bad, though).

Chastain - The Voice Of The Cult

Good on you for bringing them up though. Great reminder to blast one of their albums soon!
I'd say their first four (well, maybe five) albums are nearly on the same quality level - if they had stopped after "For Those Who Dare", I'd probably have included them in the "Flawless discography"-thread -, so it's not an easy choice to pick a favourite, but since "The 7th of Never" and "Take Me Back in Time" (closely followed by "It's too Late for Yesterday") are my favourite Chastain-songs, I decided in favour of "The 7th of Never".

Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence
Flotsam and Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace
Overkill - Feel the Fire
These would also be my picks, though I'm not too fond of the Elton John-cover and the instrumental on "No Place for Disgrace" and like the audible bass-playing on "Doomsday for the Deceiver" better.
