i just listened to myriad...first of all, before anything else: i enjoyed listening to that song. yes, a big opeth influence in there but overall, i'd say this is a very well-thought out, original effort. keep up the good work.

Thanks for the compliments, and for listening in the first place!

oh and i found the keys in the acoustic section of the track to be a bit cheesy...not my cup of tea but yeah many people love that feel. just my 2 cents :)

Haha, that's alright. Although I really like string/choir synths (when used appropriately), I haven't really experimented with synths alot yet, so there may be some kind of change in sound on following songs.

Cheers, and thanks again!

shit, no vocals? why? i really really enjoyed this effort, metalstrm. and i whole-heartedly believe this song is just ready to go...with a few nice vocal melodies and tasty lyrics.

Thanks for the comment, but you must know that it was only intended as background music for our website, and perhaps as a gig opener, before the crushing riffs start :p

Check out our first track snippet in the myspace if you feel like it. It's a cheap recording with a couple o mics though, just to get a taste of what's to come.

hey guys! my band Bile Nephrosis just released a split in the Czech republic that's also being distributed through Razorback Records (scroll down and look for "GOREISM
5-way Gore-Grind Scrumage")

yeah, it's grind, so unless you like brutal shit you won't like this. But we're planning on recording the new CD sometime this summer, and I'm pretty excited about that.

I really liked that! I wish that first one had been a bit longer, though. :p

here's some song by my band. Our influence are many, but our main influences are Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas priest Dream Theater, and Dio. We're heavy/power metal with some progressive elements. The name of the band is Evil or Divine.
