A 9.5/10 isn't exactly bad! Makes me want to listen it even more. I guess my copy will arrive this week or so, looking forward to it!

Heres a short ensemble piece I made a couple months ago, just recently uploaded it to SoundClick if anyones interested.
Its based on a somewhat metaphoric concept combination, it turned out rather interesting, thought you guys might enjoy it.
Take my limbs, for I no longer need them.

Hey fellas...
i recorded this the other day as a video response to Keith Hynes' verson of the same song ()
My version is FAR from perfect (excuse the fuckups at 2:12 and 3:35), i took this video to see what parts i need to learn better
I tried to keep the core rhythms of the song intact, because Martin Lopez is one of my main drumming influences (along with Gavin Harrison, Virgil Donati, Steve Smith, etc), but part of my nature is to improvise and play around with things to see what works best! My hand started cramping up pretty badly midway though the tune.
The audio was recorded with a single condenser mic, into Adobe Audition. I used WavesSSL compression to get a decent sound.
Also, keep in mind that i've only been playing drums for a year and a half! I started in November 2006. I usually play along to jazzier, funkier songs, so this was an interesting and refreshing challenge.

My copy finally arrived today! I already gave it a spin, it's great, beautiful tracks, the artwork also came out very nice, I think. And I'm not kissing ass either, haha. Great job.
