God, I wish. that band fucking owns. Nah, my good buddy Jeff is the guitarist for that band so i was showing some love in Germany.

Actually, kind of a funny story. This was before they were signed to Nuclear Blast, I told Jeff that i wanted a shirt and i'd wear it at this fest we were playing in germany (small one but it was fun) but they ran out and didn't get their new ones in time. So i went to the fest and about 10 minutes before we went onstage I found a meltdown shirt at one of the merch booths (they had no distro or anything at the time) along with some cds of a friends band from seattle. So i bought one and immediately put it on.

I also got a lot of comments about how i was wearing a white shirt onstage. Apparently this is NOT true metal, so let that be a lesson to you. White = not true

I wouldn't call Absu kvlt, personally. They're too individualistic among black metal bands, imo. They release their music in non-kvlt fashion. Also, the red seems very convenient for hot summer weather. CONVENIENT IS NOT GRIM!
