This is by far my favorite part about this forum. I dunno if this is premature or whatever...I guess I've only been apart of this forum for about a year, so I dunno who starts the thread, but feel free to move it if need be. Here's my guesses for next year...

Psychotic Waltz
Pagan's Mind
Freedom Call
Falconer
Amberian Dawn
Triosphere

Rhapsody of Fire
Sirenia
Heavenly
Amaranthe
Van Canto
Sun Caged

Van Canto will never happen. This has been stated on this forum before. I'll save guesses for now, but I'll say that there are some good bands on your list--especially Freedom Call and Falconer. However, if this fest will continue to grow, I would expect more bands like Tyr or Ihsahn ( or Arcturus for hell's sake ) to be added. Think along the lines of Borknagar, Anathema, or My Dying Bride. Hell, even a trad doom band like Candlemass or a classic thrash band like Toxik would fit right in.

Glenn has said Arcturus and Borknagar he won't deal with again due to the unprofessionalism. I could see Candlemass or Anathema. I'd love to see My Dying Bride (no. 2 on my bucket list), but I think they might be too much of a stretch for this crowd.

I think Rhapsody (of Fire, :ill: hate that surname) is overdue for a killer headlining 2+ hour set.

other bands I would love to see: WOLF, Grave Digger, Wuthering Heights, Heavenly, Pharaoh, Seven Kingdoms...

what? you all know I'm not a ProgSnob, so I'll lave those choices to the appropriate authorities. :p

I think Rhapsody would've been at the fest a long time ago had it not been for their price tag. I think that continues to make it difficult to bring them on.

I think Wolf will be there sometime soon. Grave Digger I would love and would be there in a heartbeat if they were on the roster.

However, I'm staying away from my guesses until Glenn posts the official one.

In the same way the fest is expanding out to include bands like Tyr, Turisas, and Ihsahn I'd like to see it reach also to retro prog bands like Beardfish, Black Bonzo, Hypnos 69, Witchcraft or maybe even include a classic prog band like Uriah Heep. Or doom like Candlemass or Cathedral would be cool.

That being said other bands I'm hopeful for are Freedom Call, Gamma Ray, Hibria, Spiritual Beggars. Crescent Shield, Slough Feg, and Rhapsody.
