The search function on this forum blows absolute balls, so... here i go.

I'm searching for some cool progressive metal, like Opeth, Cynic, Dream Theater, Linear Sphere, etc,. I want more bands like this.

Wintersun also, if we only strech it to be a part of the progressive metal genre, I don't know.

Oh Meshuggah too. I'm not sure if Meshuggah is considered progressive but holy shit are they good.

Give Gojira a look. From Mars to Sirius is an incredable album, and its got some of the tightest drumming and guitar playing I've heard.

Progressive via rhythms and melody rather than 10 minute songs (although their latest album had a 17 minute song on)
