protools and sidechain

IM probly the dumbest guy around but i have read all these articles on sidchaining and am still just lost in protools

i have waves c1 but get confused in the story which is told on how to use this.

maybe some pics or something in protools or please explain for protools.

Send whatever your key track is to a bus. Put the C1 (or whatever) onto the track that you want to compress/gate. Then in the c1 asign the 'key input' at the top right to be the bus you are sending the key track to.
