question about Antimatter album

recently received my copy of the disc and love it, but i have a quick question. between a couple of the tracks, there are gaps when it sounds like there shouldn't be. i forget which tracks exactly, but it's the same sort of effect when you burn a CD where the songs flow into one another but you you don't turn the read all at once option or whatever on. is this just my copy?

hmm, some tracks should crossfade into each other track 2 into 3 and 8 and 9. Which version do you have?

those are the tracks, i believe. i remember one ends with a clock ticking and fades into another that begins with the same clock ticking. i have the version that was released on The End. if my copy is defective (and i'm guessing it is..weird defect though) i'll send it back asap.
