not according to the actual meaning of vegetarianism (not eating anything derived from animal carcasses, that is). and i'm not just trying to be a know-it-all, cause i really don't get that whole (very common) idea. no one would say "i'm a vegetarian, i only eat red meat". what's the relevant difference? fishes and birds aren't cute and fluffy enough to be considered animals, or what?

Don't ask me, i don't know I'm not a vegetarian (even though i don't eat meat).

Yep, that's pretty much it. And then they love to preach about how absolutely terrible it is how animals such as cows and pigs are treated (which, sadly, it is :/), while munching away on a large piece of fish. Do you know how fish die? A normal fishing boat catches way too many of them to have the time to break each individual fish's neck. Now, have you ever seen a fish out of water? Yeah, that's it. Fun stuff.
I'm not a vegetarian and I quite like meat. What I'd love to be able to do is to find a farm where the animals are treated to the best life possible, preferably where the farmer does the butchering "at home", and then buy all my meat from there, as well as ecologically grown vegetables...
The only meat I refuse to eat is cod. I recommend the rest of you to stop eating cod too. It's heading for extinction.
