@Northern Viking:Why do you think that this song is a tribute to Carcass? Actually, I didn't hear Bodom Beach Terror so far and was just curious why you are thinking so? I am a big fan of Carcass and I would be excited to hear if one of today's band pay tribute to them!

well you are the man!
thank you for telling that that song was a tribute to Carcass!!!
The intro of Corporal Jigsore Quandary fucking rocks!

All lies, read the interview at www.metal-rules.com

Then the 4th song called "Bodom Beach Terror" starts off with a very familiar drum part that seems to be taken straight from the Carcass song "Corporal Jigsore Quandary" off their DESCANTING THE INSALUBRIOUS album. How come that particular drum part came to that song? By accident, or was it some sort of a tribute from you guys to those English ´gore meisters´?

I honestly have to say that I don´t know anything about it. I haven´t got the slightest clue that the same kind of a drum part can be found from that particular album as well. It had to end up being for our new album accidentally as I wasn´t aware of that earlier. Heh, that´s quite weird and funny indeed... Anyway, I have to also say that the song itself has kind of a Carcass feel. For example, if you think of the chorus riff in that song, it has a certain kind of a Carcass vibe going on in it; in a way, I mean. But that particular drum part in question in the very beginning of that song came as a complete surprise even for me.

@Sympozium:dude, if you believe in this answer, I believe you don't have a clue about the song called 'Corporal Jigsore Quandary'.
And then in his answer Alexi explains that there is a Carcass feel in Bodom Beach Terror. How come he knew what a Carcass feel is and didn't knew one of their most popular songs? Aw, come on!

Yeah, that's plain ridiculous. The beginning of 'Bodom Beach Terror' is obviously taken from Carcass and when Alexi pretends he didnt know that, he's gay and lying.

Im not saying they ripped or copied it, it's like a quotation or a tribute. I like the song and the way in which they treated the material and stuff. It's really good work...
