My head will fuckin FALL OFF MY SHOULDERS!!!

Heh heh heh. Okay, seriously:

Manticora - Heh heh heh. I'm bringing Advil for my neck that weekend.
Stride - Loved these guys at PP3's preparty. Excited for them!!!
Conception - I've been spinning this for three days straight, and it's so GOOD!
Symphorce - ANDY!!!!!
Stratovarius - I've had Infinite for a looong time, and always dug their sound.
Angra - I know I'll like them this time. But I really need to be familiar with their material this year.
Therion - Vovin always caught my ear. My brother discovered them a very long time ago. He'll dig it.

I know NOTHING of the last three bands, so I've got some studying to do.
Orphaned Land
PC69
Circus Maximus

Bryan, if you need any help with Angra or Orphaned Land, don't hesitate in contacting me...

Symphorce is very different from Brainstorm, so I expect a different Andy this time... It's not as powerful as Brainstorm live so I don't know what to think... I hope I get surprised though...

Hmm, for me....

1. Orphaned Land, Therion -- they were both on my "possibilities for sponsorship" lists to Glenn. Overjoyed to see both of these bands.

3. Angra -- I was kinda worn out the last time they played...great show, though, and I'm familiar with most of their material as well; this year they're on Friday, which should help with the fatigue situation :)

4. Conception, Stratovarius -- I like both bands and know some of their material, so they should be good-to-great shows (and both will be historic moments too)

6. Circus Maximus, Symphorce, Stride, Manticora -- I haven't heard too much by these bands although that's rapidly changing. I like what I've heard from all of them, though, particularly Symphorce and CM; Stride was great at the pre-party.

10. PC69 -- not really my style, but I'll certainly check them out, since what I've heard sounds well-done.

Should be an excellent year, as well as the most diverse we've had so far. :)

you all are gonna hate me. (look at my #9,10.)

1. Orphaned Land
2. Angra
3. Pink Cream 69
4. Stride
5. Therion
6. Circus Maximus
7. Manticora
8. Symphorce
9. Stratovarius
10. Conception

Looking forward to all of them, although I'm not familiar (*) with a few, so it's hard to rank. I enjoy watching/photographing all muscians who are passionate performers, regardless of genre.

1 - CONCEPTION
2 - STRATOVARIOUS (How about playing all of "EPISODE"?).
3 - PC69
4 - ANGRA
5 - SYMPHORCE
6 - CIRCUS MAXIMUS*
7 - STRIDE*
8 - MANTICORA*
9 - THERION*
10 - ORPHANED LAND*

1. Pink Cream 69 (melodic rock gods. I would've loved to see PC69 w/ Deris more!)
2. Stratovarius (I just hope they do some melodic stuff and not all prog)
3. Therion (anything of the new cds will rule!)
4. Symphorce (german metal is always good!)
5. Orphaned Land (unique. Interested to check out)
6. Angra (maybe they'll live up to the hype but I doubt it)
7. Manticora (vocals...eh. Music..cool)
8. Conception (my spot to sleep to the old folks music)
9. Circus Maximux (god, I hope this isn't Prog wankery!)
10. Stride

1.-ANGRA
2.- ORPHANED LAND
3.- CONCEPTION
because i've never seen alive, and Angra is one of my favourite bands

4.-THERION
one of my favourite bands, Im fan since 1989, but i've seen twice before, many people here are skeptics about Therion, i hope change your mind after the show

5 to 9 .- PC69, Stride, Manticora, Circus Maximus, Symphorce in no particular order

that's all.... oh! almost forget it !!

10.- Stratovarius... time to return the hotel....for me

Stratovarius is the only band I actually already know, so the others are just ordered according to my initial reaction, or what I think I"ll like (or not like). It might change after listening to more for longer....

1. Stratovarius
2. Therion
3. Orphaned Land
4. Manticora
5-7: Angra, Circus Maximus, Stride
8. Symphorce
...
...
...
9. Conception

10. Pink Cream 69

>_>

Please don't kill me.....

Angra
Circus Maximus
Orphaned Land
Stride
Therion
Stratovarius

I've never heard PC69 because their name is so undeniably stupid I've always assumed they can't possibly be worth a look, and I just plain don't like Manticora or Conception. I may change my mind before the show, though, about any or all of the above.

Photo pit time:

Symphorce - hell yeah! Andy and the German commando will be last year's Tad Morose
PC 69 - a fan for 10 years... simply awesome
Stratovarius - I wish they would play the whole "Visons" CD
Manticora - have had all their discs for awhile - still not sold on the vocals
Stride - sample was cool
Conception - sample was kinda interesting
Circus Maximus - have to hear more

Shopping / hanging backstage time:

Orphaned Land - too bizarre for my tastes
Therion - see above
Angra - too generic for me

Orphaned Land - made the show for me.
Stratovarius - Gotta love Strato.
Symphorce - tied with Angra
Angra - tied with Symphorce
Manticora - Got 8 Deadly Sins and have been rocking out to it since.
Stride - The song and samples were very impressive.
Circus Maximus - These guys can do no wrong, from what I've heard so far.
Conception - Low on the list becase I've only heard one song, from the looks of how excited they made everyone else, they'll move up in ranking.
Therion - Definitely cool stuff...just doesn't appeal to me as much as the others.
Pink Cream 69 - Yeah they rock hard. But, for me, are sort of ehhhh.

YOu can dislike Angra, I don't have a problem with that... But Generic? They are probably the LEAST generic power band out there...

I don't really see how someone can call a band generic, yet have Pink Cream 69 be one of their favorite bands from what I've heard....>_>
