.....what genre is it now?...there like 4 minutes of palm muting...what else is there to call bad metal, Nu-metal is the scapegoat term for all that is shitty and unoriginal in the metal scene...which is what palm muting and like 2 riffs in a song is (The Grand Conjuration) ghost of perdition isnt as far off as TGC, but its definatly not classic opeth, theres hardly any melodys and whatnot as in other albums

You could count Damnation, but I was thinking more of the "normal" Opeth albums.

I gave it a 9. I think this is one of there best songs in a while. I didn't feel this way about anything on D1 or D2. The only reason it loses 1 point is because I'd put some Still Life tracks before it. Anyone who calls this song nu-metal has something wrong with them.
