The Great Cold Distance - 5
I'm awaiting a flaming for this grade. I actually don't like it as much as everyone seems to do. The heavy guitars are a bit generic and tend to put me off, as well as a lot in the lyric department. I do enjoy "July" a lot though.
Viva Emptiness - 8.5
A very good album that still lacks a bit compared to the others IMO. I find it a bit too modern. Still, songs like "A Premonition", "Complicity", "Omerta" and "Criminals" own bigtime.
The Last Fair Deal Gone Down - 9.5
Has some of my favourite tracks like "Chrome" and "Don't Tell A Soul". Nine times out of ten I choose this one as my second favourite CD after BMD.
Tonight's Decision - 9.5
The link between LFDGD and DO. Another bunch of great songs with the feeling in the right place.
Discouraged Ones - 9.5
A great album in terms of feeling. I prefer the gloomy songs like "Stalemate", "Last Resort" and "Distrust" to the "hits".
Sounds of Decay EP - 9.5
Three great songs and sadly the last Doom/Death output. "Nowhere" and "At Last" could easily have been on BMD.
Brave Murder Day - 10
The masterpiece in my eyes. This is the album to compare all Doom/Death too.
For Funerals to Come EP - 7
I haven't quite gotten the magic in this one. The songs feel a bit flawed in terms of structure. The feeling is intact, none the less.
Dance of December Souls - 9.5
The atmosphere of this album is just crushing. I usually only listen to it when feeling manic and insane.
Jhva Elohim Meth...The Revival EP - 8
Very flawed in terms of production and general tightness, but the great feeling is there. The demo version of "Without God" is also teh pwn
