Reading List Thread

it is really good. it's the first encyclical with flow i've read in a while.
 
I finished reading The Historian by Elisabet Kostova a while ago and although the book had a lot of highpoints at the end it left me unimpressed becouse the ending plot was too weak in my opinion
 
now reading: Künstliche Intelligenz für Ingenieure, Bd. 2, Technische Anwendungen (Artifical intelligence for engineers, Part 2, Technical applications)

I don't really have much time to read novels or anything else than technical literature.... so I'm sorry that I can't recomend something better :erk:
 
i'm just reading silly stuff these days, i need to get started on something better.

Yeah it better happen, I mean, how could one such as you couldn't like Poe? Unless he killed your dog or mother I don't see a good reason. :)
 
Me too. But thats normal, I think he will rediscover Poe later. Its the same with me and Dostoyevski - everybody is like have you read this and that and Im like no, sorry. But I know I will, one day. :)
 
the difference is Dostoevsky is brilliant, while Poe is overrated :p

If anyone is in fantasy genre...Before few months I read The Dragonbone Chair from Tad Williams (that is just the first part,has 4...around 3000 pages,read all) and it's really great book
