Recommend me Melodic Death/Melodic Metal

Yeah, all their CD's are pretty similar in style with Crowned in Terror/Crowned Unholy being the only one that sticks out a bit. Hell is Here may sound a little different with the sound production but Deathrace King and Possessed 13 (with Possessed 13 being a decent ablum but definately their weakest) are pretty similar in style, drumming, guitar playing and vocals.

rapture and in battle are both pretty good (aside from others already mentioned). but i dont remember seeing early amorphis anywhere - definitely worth checking that out too.

The only 'the crown' cd that is good is the first one. After that i'm not sure what the hell happened.

Eternal Death destroys The Burning.

My recommendation for melodic death metal is Uncanny - Splenium For Nyktophobia.

To each their own. I have found Mercenary to be one of the limpest, most insipid bands with the most annoying keyboards for a loooooooong time.
