recently i got into Negura Bunget (thanks to serenity now! ) and alcest's little ugly sister, Amesoeurs (the more blackmetalish side of alcest, also by neige the genius. brilliant stuff by the way).

i dont know i you could actually call these 2 black metal by definition' but, can you recommend me some good sounding BM? But something thats recorded properly, not a "ive-made-it-at-home-late-drunken-night" kind of sound..

Deathspell Omega - Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice
Deathspell Omega - Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum
Deathspell Omega - Kénôse
Wolves in the Throne Room - Two Hunters
Wolves in the Throne Room - Diadem of 12
Leviathan - Massive Conspiracy Against All Life
Lurker of Chalice - s/t
Darkspace - Dark Space I
Darkspace - Dark Space II
Darkspace - Dark Space III
Thorns - s/t

These are all essential black metal releases in my opinion. Negura Bunget also belongs on that list, but seeing how you already spoke of them it would seem redundant.

Imprescindible:

Deathspell Omega - Fas (Ite Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum)
Deathspell Omega - Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice
Wolves in the Throne Room - Two Hunters
Ne Obliviscaris - The Aurora Veil EP
Weakling - Dead as Dreams

Somewhat worse production but still kickass:

Emperor - Anathems to the Welkin at Dusk

And, Carta's personal dish:

Nocte Obducta - Nektar Tiel I
Nocte Obducta - Nektar Tiel II

that was quick! thanks! :)
i went through Wolves in the Throne Room, it is quite nice, though i cant connect to it as much as i do to negura or Amesoeurs.
ill give the other ones a shot.
thanks again

A band I've just discovered and mentioned in the Now Playing thread, Ved Buens Ende. They've split-up now, but they released a corker of an album back in '95 entitled 'Written In Waters'. Highly recommended. It's musically sort of a precursor to later-Deathspell Omega.

You asked for black metal? ;) Aside from those already mentioned:

Satyricon - The Shadowthrone
Satyricon - Nemesis Divina
Satyricon - Now, Diabolical
Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse
Emperor - IX Equilibrium
Khold - Krek
Marduk - Heaven Shall Burn
Marduk - Nightwing
Marduk - Panzer Division Marduk
Marduk - Rom 5:12
Mayhem - De Mysteriis dom Sathanas
Arthemesia - Check out their MySpace
Profundi - The Omega Rising
Gorgoroth - Incipit Satan
1349 - Liberation
Gehenna - WW
Darkthrone - Panzerfaust

Dragonlord
Enslaved - "Frost" (a little raw sounding, but give it a try anyway)
Enslaved - "Below the Lights"
Enslaved - "Isa"
Enslaved - "Ruun"
(I'm sure Enslaved has some other great stuff but that's all I've heard)
Gorgoroth - "Twilight of the Idols (In Conspiracy with Satan)"
Gorgoroth - "Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam"
Old Man's Child. I'd recommend their later discography.
Ulver - "Bergtatt" and "Nattens Madrigal" (again, both considerably raw but still kickass)

You pretty much can't go wrong with Enslaved, all of their albums are crushers in their own right.

Ihsahn, Wolves in the Throne Room, Enslaved (especially Isa), (Early) Ulver, (Early) Arcturus (though all of Arcturus is awesome), Borknagar, Emperor, I can't think of anything else right now. I'm really tired.

My Favourites:

Dimmu Borgir: In Sorte Diaboli
Satyricon: Now diabolical
Dark funeral: Attera Totus Sanctus
Immortal: Sons of Northern Darkness
Darkthrone: A Blaze in the Northern Sky

Actually while im here.... Deathspell Omega.... where should I start?.. I have been to close to buying the newest one a couple of times.

what about early dissection?
look how cool they are

"Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice" and "Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum" are the two first parts of a trilogy, so I'd recommend you start with "SMRC", then go with "Kénôse" ( which is considered by the band as something of an "appendix" to "SMRC") and "Fas" after that. And then join us in our wait for the last part.

^^ I only have one album by Dissection (The Storm Of The Lights Bane), which I really liked..been looking to check out more of their discog. Where should I go next?

Get The Somberlain, which was their first.

Those are the only two albums Dissection ever came out with. If you see a third, ignore it. There were only two.

Of course, as some people have mentioned, Emperor is highly recommended. One of the top Metal bands of alltime IMO. 'Anthems to the Welk at Dusk' and 'Prometheus' would be their most recommendable albums.

I've recently been listening to a band called 'Blut aus Nord'. Check them out if you want a more experimental type of Black Metal. Very chaotic, but also very cold and atmospheric in a way. A lot of more 'normal' black metal strives to sound evil, but IMO, these guys sound far more convincing in this aspect, and they don't even sound to me like theyre trying to.

Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace

also Dodheimsgard - Supervillain Outcast is a decent album, though I've somewhat lost interest in it.
