Eh, I got a "Sorry, you were out" note put through my door today, so I guess this is my Agalloch box, but they couldn't deliver it because nobody was in. So I STILL haven't heard it.

I hat ethose fucking things. Just drop the fucker off, willya?!

Especially with my last job where the hours totally conflicted with the PO hours.

after some listens, AAtG is, in my expert opinion, not as good as The Mantle and certainly not near as good as the band's best stuff, namely Pale Folklore and Of Stone, Wind, and Pillor

granted, it's still early

I still think The Mantle is their best work. As for AATG, I think it's about equal to Pale Folklore. I'm not familiar enough with Of Stone, Wind, and Pillor though to make a judgement there.

I keep meaning to make a poll to see if anyone thinks AATG is their best offering.

Have you heard it? Honestly, the Sol Invictus cover is unbelievably good. Makes a boy hard just thinking about it. The EP (or MCD) as a whole is amazing, actually.

At first I didn't think it was anything special, but I grew to absolutely adore "Kneel to the Cross". Really amazing song right there.

DAMN IT!

"Dear all,

There was a small delay from the carpenter manufacturing the last batch of the wooden boxes. We expect them in the next two weeks. As soon as they show up we will package and mail to you. Sorry for this delay and any inconvenience it causes, we will get them out to you as quickly as possible. They are great looking boxes and it’s really worth the wait. We appreciate your patience and customer support in this matter as you have all made this pre-order such a success!"
