There should be a new rule around these parts- don't go calling other people's playing fake unless you can prove that you do it the "real" way first....or even know some of the material in question well enough to comment on it.

We don't all want to turn into irrational 14 year olds, now, do we?

hey man when you say "fake triplets" you mean something like messhugahs "bleed"? where you are always play down up?And if so,how come you figured Schafferr plays that way?

That'd just be alternate picking - down, up, down, up, fake "triplets" are really just two 16ths followed by an 8th note in what looks like groups of three; hence the misappropriation.

this is what i meant,
people call this triplets very often, which is wrong cause they are straight 16th notes
nothing to do with jon schaffer's playing being "fake" or something

These are not triplets for sure.

I heard people call them "gallops". I like the term.

I don't know what schaffer uses these days but I remember back on the "something wicked" days him saying he used clayton picks.
