Royal Carnage Official "I'm Fuckin' SICK of Iron Maiden!" Thread

I thought that there was hope when Maiden put out a masterpiece in 1995, with all the new ideas I actually thought Maiden would experiment with chord sequences but then Bruce coming back ruined it all.

You're just jealous that the best band (judging from most consistent amount of asskicking work, Ulver's worst album is still an 8/10 effort) that uhhhh.... shit. Where was I going with this? :zombie:

I don't know about that, but I do know that Maiden's worst album is worth a 4/10. What do you have to say about that!? :tickled:

That means at each of their respective worst moments, Ulver are exactly TWICE as better than Maiden. It's simple math! :Spin:

Now we have to figure out the ratio between their best moments, and divide by total discography. Options such as major label releases and EPs are up to the user's discretion. Also, this might help with these calculations:

haha, it's hard to tell if Nate is being serious. but yeah, Judas Priest, Maiden, Hammers, and Slough Feg...enough already :loco:

Of course not! :tickled: There are 3,641 threads in this forum. Bump any you like or start new ones!! Fucking hell, anyone's allowed to start a thread here about anything they like.

The funniest part is, Nate comes here once every 2 months. :loco:

If Maiden weren't the cornerstone of my understanding of metal and/or Blood Inside was in my possession, I may have very well voted for Ulver. I think Maiden does deserve to be held in reverence here, but the skeptical part of me doesn't understand the uproar about a band that defies categorization and has successfully reinvented themselves on multiple occasions challenging one now content to coast on past glories in some dumb tournamment thing.

i hate maiden almost as much as i hate thrash metal in its entirety

The only Maiden songs I can enjoy occasionally are "Murder In The Rue Morgue" (or something) and "Aces High". The rest is pretty much boring tbh :erk:
