Anybody have any Nevermore discs for a Sanctuary fan to start off with. I've heard 2 Nevermore songs, and they just did not stick...so, maybe something a bit out of the ordinary... Does Warrel have ANY of the killer vocals he had with Sanctuary?
The only Nevermore album where Warrell sings remotely like he did in Sanctuary is the self titled debut. It's a good album, the most similar to Sanctuary. After that it's all low and mid range stuff with one or two exceptions per album usually.
I rate the Nevermore albums like this:
1. Politics of Ecstacy
2. Dreaming Neon Black
3. Dead Heart In a Dead World
4. Nevermore
5. This Godless Endeavour
6. Enemies of Reality
Dead Heart is the most accessible but lacks the progressive, technical and unpredictable aspects of the earlier albums.
