Saturday Headliner Announcement:

Ok I think I've stopped bouncing off the walls now. Way to go Glenn. I owe you a drink for this one. Hell a whole bottle. Now for the torture of having to wait.

hey this is very suprising news! I've never heard of Jorn Lande, but i've heard of masterplan and some of his other various bands/projects. Can anyone recommend some of his good hits for me?
Or possibly send me some songs? my aim is axworldxalone, just add it and tell me who u are:headbang:

Fantastic singer...Saw Jorn with MP at RockHard last year.

Powerful as can be....This is going to be killer!

Good selection indeed....:headbang:

Lovin' it, Glenn! I can't imagine anyone in the metal community ragging on you when you've thrown together such a unique festival this year.

Something tells me you didn't just pull Jorn out of your ass, though...kinda had this "in the wings" or what?

Rock on!

Came together in less than 48 hrs. That should tell you about Jorn's enthusiasm for the show.

Glenn H.

Well...that is truly impressive...kinda shows how you thrive under pressure, huh?

Well done, Glenn...very abso-friggin-lutely well done!

Rock on!

Thanks. How about watching my back when they start calling me a pussy over on the Brave Words forum when the news hits there? :tickled:

Hell YEAH! Great choice Glenn! I would have liked to see Nevermore, but once again, their bailing out, just made the fest a notch better, IMO!
I hope you get a discount on all the Swedes you're flying in this year! :D
Kickass dude! I'll always have faith in you & your fest!:headbang:

J-Dubya - Not kissing ass, just damn happy with the line up this year!

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I really hope he does some Mundas Imperium stuff. That was my first experience with Mr. Land, but I didn't actually realize it was him until seeing ARK at PP2. (I don't read booklets that often)

I had sort of the same experience. I knew Masterplan, Beyond Twilight and Ark had the same vocalist before I remembered that old Mundanus Imperium CD I had sitting on the shelf never getting played... That was quite a shocker :)

I am excited about Glenn's choice and the opportunities that it brings!

YAY!

My poor poor husband, stuck at that wedding....

YAY!!! :headbang:
Note that I am taking applications for people to be my body double at my brother's wedding so I can go to PPUSA. There's one major benefit: There's an open bar.

You can't copyright that in a live situation. Otherwise, there would never be cover tunes played in any set.

Glenn H.

The Zappa Family Trust has been a HUGE PITA for musicians playing FZ's music. I'm no lawyer, but I do know that orchestras have had to purchase the rights to play his music. A couple of Zappa cover bands have also had some issues here in the states.....I never understood it either, but I know they and their leagal people have made life miserable for those who play
Zappa material...Mattias from FK used to do a Zappa covers gig overseas.
I'll have to ask if ZFT or lack of time has made him quit doing that, if in fact he has..... Just my 2 cents, I think the ZFT thing is a special case, and not the norm....
